Honestly surprised by the quality of this, for $50 you are getting a lot. To all the customers who didn’t read the description it is a LARGE HELMET. I usually take a 2XL hat and this fits me with room to adjust. It’s also not just large enough circumference wise but also in its depth.
Now on to details. The shell is of a surprisingly high-quality abs. Flexible but strong and feels less plastic than a Protec skateboard helmet and on par with the Hard Headed Veterans helmet.
The arc rails are of lower quality but still about the same as my friends Hard Headed Veterans helmet which is still made in China but costs 3x as much. I mounted my palters to them using a HHV adaptor and they are stable. If you want to replace them with some aluminum ones you could.
The straps are basic and probably the part I will replace first but they aren’t awful. Hell, you can install the Team Wendy strap/knob system into this if you really wanted.
Conclusion: It’s good out the box if you just need a bump helmet and you can upgrade other areas as you need. I’d recommend it over buying the $200 Hard Headed Veterans helmet (at that point just pay the extra $100 for a Team Wendy).

I am very pleased with this vest. It’s well-constructed, feature-rich, and comfortable. I’m 6’ tall and around 230 lbs., and this fits me pretty well, though it does leave a lot of lower abdomens exposed. On shorter, smaller people, this carrier offers considerably lower abdominal coverage, but like all carriers of this type (particularly the real ones), it’s designed to cover heart and lungs, and it does that well, even at my size (and girth).
For others, the carrier can accept a Joey pouch or lower abdomen panel (like from AR500). I plan to get one myself pretty soon, but I could easily do without, just as well.
The replica plates are lightweight but dense and do a great job of absorbing and distributing the impact of the BB, so while you feel a thump, it causes no pain or welting – my lower abdomen wasn’t so lucky, but that’s the price you pay for maneuverability!

These are well made and exceeded my expectations. I was not expecting the knee and elbow pad pockets so I had to go out and buy the pads to fit but they were well worth it.
I wear a size 36″ waist but they are a little snug so I ordered the 37″ (Medium Extra) but they are still a little snug so go up a size when you order.

-Like the PTS MTEK Flux, this helmet has a different shape compared to your typical FAST helmet for reasons of ergonomics, sizing may not work for you
-Because of the different helmet shape, most FAST helmet covers WILL NOT fit with this helmet, you will need to look for a Spiritus or Flux helmet cover–be prepared to spend a lot more to personalize unless you have the handiwork to make your own cover.
-There are no instructions on how to apply the padding, I attached a picture to show how I setup the outer padding of the helmet, but you will need to search up pictures of the actual helmet to figure out the inner padding layout.

Shattered my expectations. M4 mags fit perfect. I’m 6’ 1 175lbs. And it looks awesome. Build quality is incredible. If I’m totally nit picking, I will point out there isn’t any padding. Most similar units have padding in the shoulders. Also, it won’t tighten as much as I’d like. You can tighten it but inevitably I end up folding the sides to use the buckles. Still 5 stars!

I liked it a lot, very comfy and seemed like the materials are pretty durable, I am trying them out this weekend for airsoft. Only complaint, I’m 5’9 170lbs, but fit, and my butt is pretty big anyway, but it was a little tight in rear, but not uncomfortable just snug.

This helmet has adjustable straps on both sides. That means 4 different adjustments. The best part of the helmet is the padding on the inside. I play in 80-90 heat (and it is really humid as I play in the Gulf Coast – USA) and it doesn’t get too hot. I can wear this thing for hours and my head NEVER gets sore. If you want comfort and functionality, this is it. If you are looking for a helmet that is compatible with a ton of attachments though, you may want to consider a FAST helmet. Still, this helmet has a rail on each side. You just can’t mount an over ear headset via those side rails. Not a problem as there is ample space to wear one inside the helmet like I do.

I buy a bunch of these kind of helmets. I use the liner and rails and pads for other bump helmets that are military rated. I must have bought 25 types of these helmets from all different makes and sellers. Out of all those helmets this one is by far and away the very best one I have seen so far. I was so surprised at the quality and that it came with 2 sets of liner pads. A set of 1/2″ ones and a set of 3/4″ pads. And the quality of the pads is so far superior to all the other helmets that I purchased. It also came with a neck gaiter and tan which really surprised me as none of the other companies supplied one of those and none of them ever supplied two sets of liner pads. I will never buy a different type of helmet ever again it will be this one for now on.

I got this for SWAT callouts because we just switched to multicams. Nice light material so it’s comfortable in hot weather (much like UA heat gear material). Pretty good in cold too. Fits perfectly as well and doesn’t affect either my boonies hat, ball cap, or ops core helmet with hearing protection (recommend soft plugs in addition to muffs though.) The inside is white, so in winter, I wear it inside-out for snow camo. Great buy!
